Granard Booktown is thrilled to announce acclaimed author Donal Ryan will close the 2023 festival.
Granard Booktown is thrilled to announce acclaimed author Donal Ryan will close the 2023 festival.
Donal has won several awards for his fiction, including the European Union Prize for Literature, the Guardian First Book Award, and four Irish Book Awards.
He has been shortlisted for several more, including the Costa Book Award and the Dublin International Literary Award.
He was nominated for the Booker Prize in 2013 for his debut novel, The Spinning Heart, and again in 2018, for his fourth novel, From A Low and Quiet Sea.
Donal will discuss his newest book, The Queen of Dirt island, with Longford's Dani Gill.
This event will take place on April 23rd at 6 pm in Granard Library.
Tickets go on sale from March 28th via our website and box office in Granard.
